School of Business Administration hosted the 2023 Symposium on Traditional Culture and Modern Management and the Symposium on Bachelor's Management Thought



On August 24, hosted by Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and Enterprise Management Press, hosted by School of Business Administration of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics and " Enterprise Management " magazine, co-organized by China Management Thought Research Institute of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics, Oriental Management Research Institute of Fudan University, Corporate Social Responsibility Research Center of South China University of Technology, China Enterprise Research Center of Central University of Finance and Economics, Guangdong Blue Happiness Culture Public Welfare Foundation and Jiaxing New Confucian Business Enterprise Innovation and Development Research Institute, guided by Enterprise Management Special Committee of China Management Science Society, Enterprise Culture Special Committee of China Enterprise Management Research Association and Jiangxi Provincial Management Society, and supported by Jiangxi Lidu Wine Industry Co., Ltd., ' 2023 Traditional Culture and Modern Management Symposium and Undergraduate Management Thought Forum ' was successfully held in Mailuyuan Campus.

More than 50 people attended the forum, including Chen Shifa, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the University, Sun Qingsheng, the President of the Enterprise Management Press, Wu Zhaoyun, the President of Jiangxi Provincial Management Association and the former Vice President of our university. All the members of the leadership team of the School of Business Administration and experts and scholars from 16 universities and scientific research institutions across the country participated in the forum. In his speech, Chen Shifa pointed out that the spring of carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and constructing the management theory with Chinese characteristics has come. In 2023, Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics has completed the first " Chinese Management Thought Culture Park " in China. It has held the first " Chinese Management Thought Forum " in a row, the Chinese Management Thought Research Seminar and the Chinese Entrepreneur Management Thought Research Workshop in the summer of 2023. The convening of this forum adds luster to the centennial anniversary of Jiangcai, and it is expected that the forum activities will be crowned with success.

Sun Qingsheng pointed out that the forum was the first national academic conference held after the establishment of the state-owned capital management budget project of the Ministry of Finance's " Creative Transformation and Innovative Development Project of Chinese Excellent Traditional Culture in Modern Management. " Enterprise Management Publishing House hopes to use this as a platform to gather the wisdom of the management theory, consulting and practice circles, and promote the cause of carrying forward Chinese excellent traditional culture to the enterprise and society, so as to eliminate the false and retain the true, integrate, benefit more people, and achieve the effect of becoming a thing. Sun Qingsheng also made a detailed description of the project bottom line, publishing orientation and topic selection filing requirements.

At the opening ceremony, Hu Haibo introduced the situation of Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in the field of management thought research in China. Hu Haibo pointed out that Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics has formed a cross-disciplinary research team, a set of continuous in-depth research directions, a series of influential research results, and a relatively mature talent training system after four stages of preliminary trial, development and growth, brand maturity and continuous efforts. In the future, the school will further concentrate, gather and empathize on the main battlefield of economic activities and the main stage of talent training, and inherit and innovate in the ' two combinations '.

At the opening ceremony, Sun Qingsheng and Hu Haibo signed a cooperation agreement on behalf of the Enterprise Management Press and the School of Business Administration respectively.

In-depth exchanges on the paradigm innovation, theory development and practice of creative transformation and innovative development of traditional Chinese culture.

Wu Zhaoyun, Wang Zemin, Jia Lijun, Jia Xudong, Zhang Shuwang, Huang Haixiao, Huang Jinzhi and Wu Tongfu believe that paradigm innovation should be carried out in terms of conceptualization, philosophical ontology and research methodology. For example, the concept of "Chinese School of Management" should be used to avoid the formation of linguistic opposites, and the conceptual system of "the world of the scriptures, the world of salvation, and the people of the world" should be constructed from the culture of the Chinese characters and the exegesis of the word meanings. Then, based on the oriental scientific research paradigm of "making tools and objects", "mind and object" and "all things are one" and the ontology of Chinese studies, we make assumptions about human nature, design the research framework and promote the integration of disciplines.

Zhou Weizhong, Gong Weigang, Xu Liguo, Wang Guojin, Li Wenming, Guo Ying, and Zhang Shougang have deeply described traditional culture, developed management concepts, and called for theoretical dialogues. For example, traditional culture and organizational ecology in the Chinese context have given birth to eco-ethics and responsible leadership, Yangming's philosophy of internal sainthood and external kingship and the unity of knowledge and action have empowered managers to form their leadership, and the practice of the Hundred Schools of Thought of the Zu Zi and the Harmonious Schools of Thought of argumentation, persuasion, and dialogue has revealed the idea of strategic gaming and bidirectional communication in negotiation, and the system should be developed into a system of its own, and then incorporate the advanced achievements of foreign countries into our own to increase the influence of traditional culture.

Mr. Chao Gang, Mr. Huang Shaoying, Mr. Tang Shiwu, Mr. Zhang Hua, and Mr. Qin Chao discussed the strategy of traditional culture in China by combining the experience of enterprise research and practice. Nowadays, a number of enterprises practicing traditional culture have emerged in China, such as Huawei Group, Taiwei, Fat Donglai, Huasheng Clothing, etc., showing the modern Confucian business spirit of harmony between heaven and man, body and mind, group and self, and things and self, and integrating enterprise management with benevolence and filial piety through team education, strategic management and mechanism optimization to grasp the hearts of the employees, and radiating to the social welfare of the elderly and children, rural revitalization and helping the poor and the needy. It radiates to social welfare such as raising children in old age, revitalizing villages and helping the poor and needy.

During the free exchange session, the representatives further discussed the ancient experience and modern management, national classics and theoretical innovation, self-contained system and integration, blueprint design and stage advancement, and cultural symbols and system design.

In his conclusion, Sun Qingsheng put forward the course of action of "share the results, do a good job of the project, and put your mind at ease", and called for the joint efforts of multiple organizations to tell the story of China's management in the preservation of traditional Chinese culture and innovation.

After the forum, the participating experts and scholars visited the "Chinese Management Thought Culture Park".
